Afolabi Laoye

Afolabi has over 13 years’ experience in the legal profession and is the Principal Partner at Lawwin Legal; he has a Practice Certificate from Nottingham Law School, Nottingham United Kingdom, and a Bachelor of Laws Degree from Nigerian Law School.

Prior to establishing Lawwin Legal in 2020, Afolabi handled the Legal/Corporate Affairs of companies in the oil and gas sector as Head of Legal Compliance preceding his appointment as Company Secretary. Afolabi also worked as a solicitor in Holborn, London.

Upon relocating to Nigeria, he worked as a Barrister and Solicitor in the Intellectual Property and Entertainment Law sectors at L & A – Legal Consultants.

Afolabi is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association; he has qualifications from the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO Academy) in knowledge of intellectual property and from Regent University in Emotional Intelligence.
Afolabi is also an expert in Private clients and worked for the Private Banking Group of Access Bank Plc.

He is the Global Group Head of Legal at Code Group Limited.
