Izuoma holds a PhD in Environmental Law and Climate Change and has over 15 years of teaching, research, consultancy, and training experience. She has led major climate governance projects funded by Natural Justice, the Ford Foundation, and the Centre LSD.
She has facilitated numerous national and international workshops and has published over 38 peer- reviewed papers.
She coordinated 60+ continuing legal education trainings and was part of the Legal Working Group that reviewed and redrafted the Nigerian Climate Change Bill (now Climate Change Act 2021).
A 2022 Fellow of the Oxford School of Climate Change and a 2025 Fellow of the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law (UNIDROIT), Italy, Dr. Izuoma brings invaluable environmental and climate governance expertise to the firm.
